Each card has detail about the species and wing span.  The individual butterfly images preserve their charm and will trigger your memories as soon as you see them. They are also there to make a point.

The butterflies that have been featured on the cards were once a common sight across the British countryside. They are less so now. Butterfly Conservation exists to change that.
Each card has details on the reverse about the species and wing span of each butterfly.
